Vital Careers
Exercise Physiologist, Kinesiologist or Personal Trainer
Description
Exercise Physiologist, Kinesiologist, or Personal Trainer
Vital Performance Care | Calgary, AB | Hybrid | Contract | Start Date: May 4, 2026
About the Role
Vital Performance Care is hiring a CSEP-Certified Personal Trainer (CSEP-CPT), Registered Kinesiologist (AKA), Exercise Physiologist (CSEP-CEP), or Health & Performance Specialist (CSEP-HPS) to join our growing team inside Eau Claire Athletic Club in downtown Calgary, AB. Holding more than one of these designations is a strong asset.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a 1-on-1 and small group training environment and is passionate about helping people move better, feel stronger, and perform at their best — whether that’s a weekend warrior or a competitive athlete.
You’ll work alongside an interdisciplinary team of physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other exercise professionals in a collaborative, performance-focused clinic. If you love blending science with coaching and want access to some of the best technology and tools in the city, we want to hear from you.
Who Are We?
Vital Performance Care is an interdisciplinary clinic specializing in physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and performance training. We take a team-based, patient-centered approach — working alongside allied health professionals, coaches, and trainers to ensure care is cohesive, personalized, and rooted in performance.
Whether we’re guiding someone through injury rehab or supporting high-level athletes, our goal is to help people move and feel better.
Vital is a constantly growing company, and we’re committed to helping our associates grow over time — both in compensation, business development, and the types of challenges they take on.

- Design and implement individualized training programs based on client goals, assessments, and progress
- Conduct performance and metabolic testing, including VO2max testing, lactate threshold testing, resting metabolic rate testing, and spirometry
- Provide endurance and strength coaching across various populations

- Collaborate with our clinical team (physio, chiro, massage) to support integrated client care
- Maintain accurate client records and session notes using Jane App
